Pleasant lunch here today on a Sunday afternoon. My family and ordered some dishes that was family size and easily shareable. I recommend the fried rice, black bean seafood noodle dish (comes out on a hot stone plate), jjampong, and the Sweet and sour pork with glutinous rice. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant.

Authentic Korean/Chinese place. The 짜장면 is such a solid dish, rivaling 중국집 in Flushing. But I give the latter the win because their sauce is a little more elevated. However, the 탕수육 is better here. We got the 찹쌀 version, and it was so nicely fried with the chewiness but the sauce is the biggest differentiator. It has a more caramelized taste and not crowded with vegetables.

Ordered so much food. Came on a Sunday, it was very busy. Food took about 45 mins to come but luckily we weren't in a rush. Everything was good. The seafood soup was just okay for me. Big portions to share with everyone. The fried dumplings were Nice service. Love the fried pork with sweet and sour sauce. Soy garlic chicken was on point. Probably would order less noodles next time. Private section to eat and chat. Would come again.

Sunday after church we gathered at Korean Noodle House with a large group of 11 to enjoy a meal together. We've been here on week days, evenings and often on Sundays. As it's a Sunday parking in NYC is free and I parked right in front of the their front entrance. Northern Blvd. has 2 hour metered parking 9am to 7pm except Sunday Closest Meter Zone right by the restaurant is #452472 (as of 3/17/24) in case you are paying for parking Mon thru Sat. 211th Street looks like free parking between Northern and 43rd Avenue. The same for 210th Street between Northern and 43rd Avenue. The restaurant has specific parking spots designated for the restaurant, but I'm not sure if you will have an issue parking in those designated for the other businesses. Be aware that they do have a rear entrance if you park in back. When you enter through the front entrance the main dining area spans left and right with the cash register located towards the back on the right side. To the right of the cash register is an entrance to a modest side dining area. As you enter there is a private room with newly install hanging barn doors which can be closed. What I notice today was they did some remodeling of the walls in the side dining area with paint and paneling. A nice refresh which made look new as it was previously looking aged. It is overall a low key atmosphere though. We were seated in the side room as we had a larger group and the main dining area was already 65% occupied by diners. The walls were decorated also with TVs playing K-Pop or K-Drama in the past. Today I noticed the volume was very low or off. We took our time to chat, teh wait staff brought out hot tea, I asked for cold water for a few of us. They brought out the usual Korean side dishes; Kimchee, Yellow Radish slices, and raw Onion chips with doenjang (fermented soybean paste). It was comfortable to hold conversations as restaurants with open spaces may bounce sounds causing it to be loud making conversations difficult. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak. If you have a younger child with you they have highchairs. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Mandarin you'll surprised that our wait staff she spoke fluently or Korean and English. We ordered the following dishes: Ja Jang Myun (짜장면 / 炸酱面) or Beef Gan Ja Jang Myun (소고기간짜장 / 牛肉炸酱面) - two of use ordered this (either Noodle with black bean sauce or Noodle with black bean sauce and beef) comes covered with sauce, chopped onion pieces, and possibly small bit of ground beef. I believe it's egg noodle and they are long so it's advisable to cut them with the scissor that's provided. Which ever one it was it was yummy. Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (마늘간장치킨 / 酱油大蒜炸鸡) - the Soy garlic fried chicken is prepared with the sauce on the fired chicken, but you can have it on the side so you can dip it. Usually we order this to share s a family, but today I wanted to enjoy it myself, but I did save half to bring home for my son. Jam Ja Myun (짬짜면 / 炸酱面炒码面) - 1/2 noodle with black bean sauce, 1/2 noodle with spicy chop suey soup. This is a favorite that is often ordered by my wife and kids. There were three other dishes that were ordered, but they were new and I didn't catch the names of them and you will have to just figure it out by showing the pictures to the wait staff. One thing you should consider is what your spicy preference is. Get an idea from the wait staff by asking them questions because there is not way to convey how spicy is spicy. Yes they may have the dish labeled as spicy and they may tell you it is spicy, but if you have a higher tolerance for spiciness you might be disappointed and I suggest you go in with an open mind and experience it. Then the next time you'll have a realistic expectation and able to express it to friends who you know well their spicy tolerance is ;) * I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorite is the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken alone or as a side dish to share. Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but because my friend's wife just got the newest Samsung I asked her to capture all the dishes. Payment - Credit Cards work but I don't know if they don't accept AmEx or Discover which sometimes happens, and cash is king. I gave Korean Noodle House 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are many Korean Restaurants from Flushing to Bayside along Northern Blvd., but this is our go to locations as it's close to home and for friends to join us. I'd rate it $, but I'd keep in mind that prices have slowly been creeping up.

After watching a documentary on Netflix about jjajangmyeon, my husband and I were craving it so we asked around for a couple of recs and many of our korean friends recommended this spot! We ordered the deep fried pork, jjampong (spicy soup), jjajangmyeon (of course), and fried rice. The fried pork blew us away with how crunchy it is even after you pour the sauce over... it must be fried a couple of times because it's just so crispy and satisfying to chew into. Jjajangmyeon and jjampong did not disappoint at all. I went with the spicy jjampong (the lady had to make sure I actually wanted spicy..) but i don't think it was that spicy at all.. mild at best. Still really good and rich in flavour. Jjajangmyeon did not disappoint - just as good as we had hoped it was going to be. Service was great but they do get really busy so it may be hard to flag down a waitress. They are very nice and will refill your tea and side dishes. Definitely great for a family sit down dinner. We saw groups of people come in with their families and everyone looked like they were enjoying their meal. Def. a must try and glad to have added it to our list!

On our recent trip to NY, we knew that one of our priorities was to return to Nuhn Jjajang, Nahn Jjambbong, aka 'I'll have jjajang, you'll have jjambbong'. This Korean-Chinese restaurant offers dumplings, soups, beef/pork/chicken/seafood/vegetarian dishes, chef's specials, rice and noodle entrees, and even lunch combos and sets. We ordered: +Gan Jjajang - chewy noodles that we love so much, served with a side of jjajang that is more stronger in taste; this was really tasty and hit the spot; most likely will continue to order this in the future +So Gogi Chahp Ssahl Tang Soo Yook - this was fried a little hard this time around; we requested the sauce on the side, which allowed the tang soo yook to stay crispy; it was still tasty, and we had plenty of leftovers to take home Staff, as always, were super welcoming and friendly, and the place does get packed to the gills during the lunch and dinner rush. I'm sure those who have a vehicle will have no problem getting here, but you can also get to the restaurant using the public transportation, as the bus stop drops you literally across the street. Making the trek here was more than worth it, and this place will definitely continue to be in our rotation when we are visiting again! +perfectly cooked al dente noodles! +Gan Jjajang +best So Gogi Chahp Ssahl Tang Soo Yook +super welcoming & friendly staff!

We got their combo with black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork and it came with 2 dumplings and and little salad and it was so worth it, it was only $15! We also got a spicy seafood noodle soup and it was also so good and a large portion. Flavor wise I think the black bean noodles flavor is a little lighter than how I like but still good. Everything else was really good. Highly recommend getting the classics! I love going back to this place because everything is priced so well with good food. P.s their lunch specials are even more worth!! Should definitely go for lunch!
